We are looking for an outstanding Chief Technology Officer to join our team and help us take our startups, teams and their products to their maximum potential.

 

Job Description 

As the Chief Technology Officer, you will be responsible for leading the technological vision, strategy, and technical excellence within our Studio and its portfolio companies. 

You will have led numerous technology startups from early stage to scaling and/or exit events.

You will work with multiple companies in different domains in parallel, at a speed and velocity never before seen. Our aim is to change the paradigm of venture building and company creation—are you the person to be part of the team to do it? 

You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the rest of the executive team and product leads. to ensure that our early stage startups and their products meet the needs of their customers and exceed their expectations. 

You will have a strong vision for the future direction of technology trends and innovations including how to leverage such technologies to create new businesses, startups and products that delight customers using our crowd-infused, Frurgessive development approach. 

You are a bold product leader, comfortable with experimentation, speed and high velocity problem solving and iteration. 

 

CTO Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy in line with business objectives and startup portfolio needs.
  • Identify and leverage emerging technologies to enhance competitive advantage across the portfolio.
  • Provide technical leadership and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the technology teams.
  • Oversee the adoption of industry best practices and efficient development methodologies across startups.
  • Conduct technology assessments for current portfolio companies and potential new ventures, including technical due diligence.
  • Manage technology resources allocation, ensuring their efficient utilization and alignment with business priorities.
  • Foster a knowledge-sharing environment among different startups, encouraging the exchange of ideas and best practices
  • Lead the technology development and management functions, including the direction of our Hacker Network.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for product and technology success.

 

Requirements

  • 15+ years experience in the latest technology launched in the last year (Ha, got you! Wanted to make sure you were still reading)
  • Led numerous technology startups from early stage to scaling and/or exit events. 
  • Extensive experience in technology and product development, with a track record of building and launching successful startups and products in many business domains.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather and analyze data to inform technology decisions.
  • A passion for technology and a desire to make a positive impact on society.

 

General Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a diverse team of visionaries, seasoned entrepreneurs, rebel creatives, and master technicians to shape and bring new marketing ideas and tactics to life.
  • Actively engage with team members and ‘Nobodies’ to tackle problems, define solutions and make progress on growing the Studios portfolio of startups.
  • Champion Nobody Studios in the market, share our mission, live our values and bring more innovative and high-level individuals to our community.

  • You believe in doing what you’ve always done based on your fixed processes and aren’t willing to recalculate on the fly to find a way forward.
