We are looking for a Community Manager to join our team and help us take our startups, teams and their products to their target audience and maximum reach.

 

Job Description 

As a Community Manager, you will play a crucial role in building and nurturing a vibrant and engaged community around our startup ventures. 

You will be responsible for developing and executing community management strategies that drive user engagement, brand loyalty, and advocacy. 

With a strong focus on content creation, social media, marketing strategy, and systems development, you will have the opportunity to shape the community experience and contribute to the success of our early-stage ventures.

You will report directly to the CMO and work closely with the rest of the executive team to ensure that our early stage startups and their products meet the needs of their customers and exceed their expectations. 

You will work with multiple companies in different domains in parallel, at a speed and velocity never before seen. Our aim is to change the paradigm of venture building and company creation—are you the person to be part of the team to do it? 

You will have a strong vision for the future direction of technology trends and innovations including how to leverage such technologies to create new businesses, startups and products that delight customers using our crowd-infused, Frugessive development approach. 

You are a bold product leader, comfortable with experimentation, speed and high velocity problem solving and iteration.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement community management strategies to drive engagement, interaction, and growth within our startup communities.
  • Create and curate high-quality content, including blog posts, articles, social media updates, and newsletters, that aligns with the interests and needs of the community.
  • Manage social media channels, including content creation, scheduling, monitoring, and engagement, to increase brand visibility, drive traffic, and foster meaningful connections.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and design, to ensure consistent brand messaging and align community initiatives with broader marketing and business objectives.
  • Identify and engage with key influencers and community advocates, fostering strong relationships and leveraging their support to amplify the reach and impact of our startup communities.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain community members, utilizing email marketing, paid advertising, SEO, and other relevant channels.
  • Implement and optimize community management systems and tools to streamline processes, track community metrics, and measure the effectiveness of community engagement initiatives.
  • Monitor community conversations, address inquiries, provide support, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a positive and inclusive community experience.
  • Analyze community data, trends, and feedback to generate actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement of community engagement and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and tools in community management, content marketing, social media, and marketing strategy, applying innovative approaches to drive community growth and engagement.

 

Requirements

  • 15+ years experience in the latest marketing tools launched in the last year (Ha, got you! Wanted to make sure you were still reading)
  • Proven experience in community management, content creation, social media management, and marketing strategy, preferably within the startup ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
    Strong analytical mindset, systems and tools, with the ability to derive insights from community data and metrics and make data-driven decisions.
  • A passion for technology and a desire to make a positive impact on society.

 

General Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a diverse team of visionaries, seasoned entrepreneurs, rebel creatives, and master technicians to shape and bring new marketing ideas and tactics to life.
  • Actively engage with team members and ‘Nobodies’ to tackle problems, define solutions and make progress on growing the Studios portfolio of startups.
  • Champion Nobody Studios in the market, share our mission, live our values and bring more innovative and high-level individuals to our community.

 

What Success Looks Like

  • Leveraging community management tools and platforms, such as community forums, social media management tools, and analytics platforms to increase the number of members, followers, subscribers, or active participants in the Nobody ecosystem
  • Create compelling and engaging content for various platforms and audiences that reinforce Nobody Studios as a global brand and top voice in the venture studio community
  • Increased retention rates of community members can show the effectiveness of the Community Manager in building long-term relationships.
  • Drive marketing strategy and tactics, that raise the bar and capability of our portfolio companies email marketing, SEO, paid advertising, and analytics across 
  • Monitoring the engagement and collaboration with influencers and community advocates can showcase the ability of the Community Manager to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
